For Bush, 47% Ain't Bad

A WaPo/ABC News poll out today finds that only 47% disapprove of the way Bush handled Katrina (46% approved), which is apparently being regarded as good news in the White House. Which goes to show how bad things are for the Prez right now. Bizarrely, there's still a partisan divide on the catastrophe: 68% of Democratic respondents found the handling poor, but 66% of Republicans thought it was good.
