[Polls]

New Pew Numbers

I'll avoid documenting every poll that says Americans now hate Bush, but Pew is a special case. Not only do they tend to ask more interesting and probing questions, but Pew's methodology reliably seems to be the best. (They were spot-on in the lead up to the 2004 election.) They released new numbers today, and boy, are they amazing. Here's a couple choice findings:
Satisfied with the way things are going in the country
29% - Satisfied
65% - Dissatisfied

Approval rating
38% - Approve
56% - Disapprove

View of Bush's effect on politics
21% - Made things better
41% - Made things worse
32% - No effect

Bush's policies have made [see list] better:
12% - Social Security system
16% - health care
16% - race relations
19% - America's economy (57% "worse")
22% - the tax system
19% - public education
25% - morality in America
Ah, but Dems are in no position to crow--Americans are exactly as positive about both parties (32% approve).
