[Misc.]

Liberal Cities.

The online site ePodunk looked at several demographic criteria and calculated the most liberal towns in each state. The factors they considered included:

  • individual contributions to PACs;
  • election returns; gay households;
  • local government resolutions opposing combat in Iraq;
  • local officials performing gay marriages;
  • congressional district voting history; and
  • population.
Predictably, Berkeley, Madison, Philly, and Providence were in the mix. But in my home state, Lincoln City was the most liberal. Lincoln City?

Results.
