Apparently Blogger is Whole Again.
The folks at blogspot (aka Google), claim to have finally fixed the difficulties plaguing the site this week:

Late last night we pushed new code and once again replaced harware in order to combat the problems of the past few days. As of this morning it appears to have improved the responsiveness of the site, altho' there are still fixes we want to make to get Blogger faster for everyone.
Also, we are working on fixing the problems some users are seeing with photo upload failures.

I'll see your double post, and raise you a septuple post I had yesterday! Then I couldn't get in for 3 hours to take the other six down. :(
You get what you pay for.
Yeah, I was going to update my post yesterday about blogger highlighting your multiposts...but it was down!
Being cheap has its disadvantages.
