Roberts is in.

I stumbled briefly onto the NPR feed of the Roberts hearing. For the barest moment I was attracted to the spectacle, but moments later, switched over to music. Everyone predicted this would be the judiciary battles to end all battles, but it's anything but. Roberts is in, and the only question is whether the Dems will rough him up on the way. Bush's nomination to replace O'Connor might be more interesting, but who cares? It's not like we can influence the outcome.

Prediction: Roberts passes the judiciary committee 17-1 and the full senate 85-12.
