Not that Old

Fact of the day. It is his excellency Dick Cheney's birthday today. He is younger than you think. By comparison, a couple other folks:
George W. Bush: 60 (July 6, 1946)

John McCain: 70 (August 29, 1936)

Dick Cheney: 66 (January 30, 1941)
I thought Cheney was substantially older than Dubya. You recall when they were elected, there was a lot of talk about how Cheney wouldn't even make it through his first term. He was only 58 when they won the election.

Incidentally, the oldest president in history was Ronald Reagan - elected at age 69.

McCain is 70 today, and will be 72 by the election. Wow.
